Liz joined the Thames River Innovation team in June of 2019. She previously served as Executive Director of The Jonnycake Center of Westerly, in Westerly Rhode Island, where she gained experience launching programs to address community need and nurtured the growth of the Center’s social enterprise Thrift Store.
Liz holds a BA in Sociology and Third World Development Studies from Smith College and recently returned to school to earn her Masters in Public Affairs from Brown University. Liz plays an active role in her community. She has held leadership positions in the Chariho Rotary Club since she joined in 2012 and currently serves as President-Elect. Liz also serves as Advisor to the Chariho High School Interact Club where she has an opportunity to inspire youth for a lifetime of service and community involvement. Most recently, Liz was appointed to CHS’s XQRI School Redesign Task-force, serving on the Work-based Learning Committee.
Liz makes her home in Quaker Hill, Connecticut with her partner Gary, his two children Ella and Greyson, and their dog Piper.
